Going on a Costa Blanca Holiday
British European Airways thought up the name for the COSTA BLANCA HOLIDAYS when they advertised flying to Valencia for £38,16s back in 1957. The words were part of a slogan campaigning to get people out here for their holidays aptly describing the White Coast (Costa Blanca) as 200 kilometres of white sandy beaches from Denia in the north to Pilar de la Horadada in the south. The tourist industry has never looked back: whether renting a car to going out clubbing, to see a show, a theme park or visiting a leather shoe factory, getting there is never a problem as most of these places offer to pick up and drop tourists at the front door.
